The success of adopting generative AI in business lies at least as much in training employees on a large scale as in solving the technical challenges.

This white paper is the result of a major survey that we carried out with key AI decision-makers from French institutions and companies, mainly including large groups, in order to draw up a precise and realistic picture of the adoption of generative AI within organizations, delivering concrete examples.

We conducted a survey of numerous players in the sector, whom we chose to clearly identify, to provide the most contextualized snapshot.

The results are enlightening: a year and a half after the appearance of ChatGPT, all the companies surveyed have industrialized generative AI use cases, and 80% of them indicate that large-scale employee training on generative AI is a priority.

However, the abundance of ideas and the resulting proliferation of applications pose a risk to achieving genuine economic benefits in the short term.

This white paper, which brings together numerous testimonials, aims to answer several fundamental questions:

How can we make the best choice regarding technologies and use cases? Which business needs should be prioritized? What choices should be made on generic or specialized AI and core business areas? How can we ensure control, robustness and confidence in these new technologies? How can we prepare organizations for the evolution of work through the deep integration of generative AI into decision-making and operational processes?

We hope that this white paper will provide clear answers and valuable guidance to help businesses navigate effectively through this rapidly changing and, admittedly, incredibly exciting economic landscape.

List of interviews, with decision-makers from: TotalEnergies, Sodexo, Malt, Safran, Direct Assurance, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, Giskard, HuggingFace, UM6P, Qwant, StarlingBank, BPIFrance, La Fabrique by CA, Kaukana Ventures, National Coordination for Artificial Intelligence.
